The male lead, Fang Lu, who is approaching 40, had to give up his job in a big city to take care of his mother who has fibroma. He became a Didi driver in his hometown to do so. However, the illness drove Fang Lu and his mother further apart until his mother insisted on leaving the hospital and jumped off a tall building. Fang Lu finally had to learn to accept his mother's death and accept the fact that he had become an accomplice in his mother's death.
